Dion's Human Mien

Dion is the firstborn son of the Daneam Specialty Winery founders Marianne and Paul Daneam.  He has grown up in the lap of luxury, never wanting for anything.

Daneam Specialty Winery is well known in the Napa Valley for producing the finest specialty wines, hearkening back to the old styles of greek and roman wine pressing and preparation, adding various flavours and a certain special something that makes the wine in high demand among conoisseurs.  Paul, you see, is also a Satyr, and infuses his wines with Glamour, working, in his own way, to stave off the Winter.

Dion grew up in priviledge, learning from only the best tutors, and being taught fencing and other more archaeic styles of fighting, as well as being encouraged to pursue his athletic passions.  When Dion Chrysalized after a particularly spectacular win, his parents were on hand to guide him and teach him about his new world as well.  Despite coming from the Chrysalis with wings, which his mother took as an omen of powerful blessings, they hang, virtually useless, little more than decoration, as, for some reason, the muscles that should work the wings don't.

His father, though still loving his son, was embarrassed by this apparent deformity or disability, sent Dion to New Bremen, to live with his aunt, a mortal.  Dion resents his father, and has taken a slightly dark turn recently, preferring the more...progressive and self-benefitting ideals of the Unseelie Court.

Dion enjoys a wide variety of extreme sports, from rock climbing to skateboarding, as well as more "mundane" events such as track and swimming.
