As a child, his darker tanned skin was explained away as simply a boy playing in the sun.  He was raised as the latest in a lineage of DeLong's stretching back to the Mayflower, but when he was 18, about to graduate from Albion High with honors, his world came crashing down. 

 

A star athelete and honor student all four years of school, Brian was popular, charming, handsome and well liked, not just by the "in-crowd" but by the misfits and outcasts as well, whom he treated with respect.  If one looked closely enough, however, one could see that Brian was unhappy.  His glowing personality and charisma were masks, hiding a secret that he knew would make all he had worked for come to an end.  Brian was gay.  He was in love with a young man named Tristin MacMorna ever since laying eyes on him. 

 

The fall of his 18th year, Brian finally had the opportunity to make his secret dream come true and in the throes of passion with Tristin...he underwent his First Change.  Tristin was surprised, but took the shock surprisingly well, and brought Brian to another friend, August Renard who was also Garou.  Tristin himself, while not Garou, was Sidhe and kin to the Wolves.  Together with these two and a new circle of friends, Brian underwent many trials and tests, coming out as the chosen son of Mother Winter. 

 

Upon being chosen, his mind was opened to the truth of his lineage.  He was not, by blood, a DeLong.  In fact, the DeLong line was dying and his parents could not have children of their own.  Adoption through proper channels would take too long, so his parents went about less wholesome means and purchased the young Brian from a poor Siberian family.  When Brian traced his true lineage back, he discovered that he was in fact a child of the Siberakh subtribe of the Silver Fangs, leaders of the Garou Nation.  He has thrown his lot in with King Albrech, the purity of his breeding allowing him to be brought by the King into the Silver Fang Tribe proper, and he has been acting as a liason to the Siberakh themselves, on Albrecht's behalf.  He has attained the rank of Athro, garnering a good deal of renown as Winter's Favored Son, reconciler and warrior of Gaia, servant of Mother Winter and blessed by Zarok at birth.  He has fathered three strong male cubs with Kin, all of whom are expected to Breed True, much to Brian's honor, though he simply smiles quietly and nods, saying nothing when asked why he has yet to take a mate.

 

In the Human world, Brian has also been busy.  Upon graduating High School, Brian immediately entered a prestigious Ivy League school and graduated surprisingly quickly, again with honors, with a double degree in law and political science, all by the time he was 23.  Since then, he has been hard at work with other young "radicals" and old guard politicians disgusted with current practices in crafting an upstart political party that combines ecologically sound platforms that do not endanger the welfare of true Capitalism.  A party based on moving forward into the future while remaining rooted squarely in a respect for the world around them.  The party is gaining popularity on college campuses, and among labor organizations, because of it's unique views on environmental responsibility AND responsibility to the employees of the companies that are most in need of retfitting.  His claim to the DeLong legacy also makes him a darling in the social circles that helped make the Kennedy's what they were, and his natural charm and wit keep him well atop the social strata.

 

Brian and Tristin finally reconnected, becoming lovers again after some recent personal tragedies that rocked both young men's lives, and he now works in New York City and the surrounding wilderness to help his best friend and lover and to help the country he has come to love, and the Nation that calls to his blood nightly.

Brian is tall, handsome, and addictively optimistic, most times.  He has shaggy, blonde-brown hair.  His jade-green eyes sparkle, even at night.  Though usually dressed in tailored suits and the affectations of the American rich, his trim, powerfully built body moves with the easy grace of a dancer.
