*A dance club by night, a youth center by day, The Misfits
is a warm, fun, inviting environment for the gay and lesbian youth of the city. The Misfits is a safe haven, designed
to provide a maximum of safety in a world hostile to its patrons, and as such, has a fully paid security staff and metal detectors.
The club itself is located on the lower of four stories in an historic building and has pool tables, a dance floor,
a stage and a non-alcoholic bar. A pumping bass that thrums and harmonizes with something inside you can be heard as you pass
through the gauntlet of bouncers and metal detectors.*
*One of several DJs is always in the booth, mixing it
up and there are plenty of cute young NPCs and their fag hag's cutting a rug beneath the flashing lights on the massive dance
floor, the surrounding walls of which are decorated with all kinds of art deco / male mannequin / black light art. Near
the entrance of the club is a bar with all kinds of non-alcoholic beverages and several tables where occasionally a small
group will gather to take a breather and smoke a cigarette. The upper floors being outfitted as a safe-house for gay
and lesbian youth running scared from their families or unethical mental institutions / torture facilities*
